The primary nationwide US federal law enforcement agency, these are people whose paths frequently cross (or block) those of Chance and his team, although the Bureau has very little hard intel on most of them, partly thanks to Guerrero's more than due diligence. The prime example is Agent Emma Barnes, who gets entangled in two cases, that of Aaron Cooper ("Embassy Row"), and the team's first recorded attempt to stop Baptiste ("Baptiste"). As ever, the FBI is as much a foil for our heroes' ingenuity as the bad guys, although individual agents are frequently shown to be decent, intelligent souls, rather than a Fumbling Bunch of Idiots, or words to that effect.
